# Making a post

{% hint style="info" %}
Creating and publishing content on **DeSoFlow** is designed to be both intuitive for new users and robust enough for professional creators. The process ensures that every submission is **securely authored, transparently reviewed, and permanently verifiable** on the blockchain.
{% endhint %}

## 1. Drafting Your Content

Users begin by composing their post using the **DeSoFlow desktop client**, which supports rich text, embedded media, LaTeX formulas, and advanced markup. This environment enables creators to produce high-quality, well-structured content ranging from short updates to long-form articles, research papers, or multimedia-rich presentations.

Key capabilities during drafting include:

* **Rich formatting tools** for headings, lists, citations, and code blocks.
* **Inline media embedding** for images, video, and interactive elements.
* **Mathematical & scientific notation** through LaTeX support.
* **Draft autosave and version control** to prevent loss of progress.

***

## 2. Content Validation & Metadata Assignment

Before submission, the platform prompts the creator to define **metadata** such as title, description, category, language, and licensing preferences. This metadata becomes part of the post’s permanent, on-chain record and aids discoverability.

Each draft is then **cryptographically hashed**, ensuring its exact form at the time of submission is verifiable. This hash acts as a digital fingerprint, preventing tampering and proving authorship.

## 3. Submission to the Review Process

Once finalized, the post enters the **trustless review cycle**:

* **Reviewer Assignment:** Reviewers are randomly selected from the network based on reputation scores and stake participation.
* **Evaluation Criteria:** Reviewers assess content quality, relevance, and adherence to platform guidelines.
* **Secondary Verification:** A separate group of verifiers checks reviewer decisions to maintain integrity and fairness.

All review actions, verdicts, and reviewer reputations are recorded transparently on-chain.

***

## 4. Blockchain Registration & Distribution

Approved posts are **registered on the blockchain** with their cryptographic hash, metadata, and provenance information. At the same time, the content is distributed via the **peer-to-peer (P2P) storage network**, ensuring:

* **Redundancy:** Multiple copies stored across independent nodes.
* **Censorship resistance:** No single point of control can remove or alter the post.
* **Global availability:** Content remains accessible even if individual nodes go offline.

***

## 5. Monetization & Engagement Tracking

Once live, the post becomes part of the **DeSoFlow micro-economy**:

* **Tokenized Engagement:** Likes, comments, shares, and remixes generate measurable economic value.
* **Revenue Sharing:** All earnings are distributed transparently to creators, curators, and other eligible contributors.
* **DAO Integration (Optional):** Creators can activate a micro-DAO for their post, allowing their community to vote on content updates, promotion strategies, or derivative works.

***

## Why This Matters

By combining **rich authoring tools**, **immutable blockchain records**, **decentralized review**, and **P2P distribution**, DeSoFlow ensures that every post is **authentic, secure, and community-driven**. This approach protects creators from censorship, guarantees fair attribution, and embeds economic incentives directly into the content lifecycle.
